In October 2007 we spent a lovely weekend in the Lake District visiting friends. I took many photos and over the next few weeks I thought I would share some of my favourites with you. Autumn might be a bit cold and blustery some days but it is a very beautiful time of the year. The sun throws off a special light in the mid afternoon to early evening as it starts to go down – in the Lake District, this had a stunning effect on the hillsides.
