Well I wasn’t planning on watching tlhe royal wedding, although I was interested to see Kate’s dress, which by the way, I thought was totally gorgeous. However, I got caught up in the hype and before I knew it I was watching some the ceremony. For me, there are two clear moments that stand out for me, (no, not the kiss!). Both are illustrations as to why I like Kate and hope the royal family doesn’t change her too much.
1, My first favourite moment was during the actual ceremony, after they had read their vows and were kneeling on those nice red chair things, the vicar/bishop (whoever) was saying that they were now man and wife blah blah blah and Kate couldn’t hold back her little smiles and kept glancing up to see if Wills was smiling but sadly he wasn’t and her little smiles went unnotice by him. It was a cute moment.
2, My other favourite moment was when they both stepped out onto the balcony at Buckingham Palace and Kate visibly gasped ‘wow’ as she saw the thousands of people cheering up at them – that must have been an overwhelming moment for her and it was clear to see, which was really lovely – and normal.

I got a little caught up in the whole event myself. It was hard not to. I really liked her dress too. I read that it paid homage to the arts and craft movement. Loved that!
