What a lovely sunny day at the Driftwood Dreaming stall at Earlsdon Festival. The street was packed and Tina’s Driftwood Dreaming stall looked wonderful and she had made lots and lots of beautiful things to sell. I loved the driftwood clocks and wall hangings and mirrors and the sea glass jewellery and the cards and lots of other lovely things. Her lovely husband Matt had helped her by making a great background board to display things on and it looked lovely, and together with his friend John they carried the board to the stall. A great day, great weather, and great people !

Earlsdon May Fayre. love the driftwood clock and the card holder. It would be lovely to have one to hang business cards on so they don’t just pile up and get lost !…. mum

I’ve heard that it’s getting rarer due to the much stricter legislation for dumping waste in the sea. Much of the sea glass found these days is pretty old.

Oh no!! Another person collecting sea glass!! It’s so beautiful isn’t it? I always collect it and display it in cuboid glass vases on the window sill where the light can shine through it. It’s getting more difficult to find, I don’t know whether that’s because more people pick it up or whether fewer people throw glass away in the first place now that we are encouraged to use the recycling bins. Hi Lis. My daughter was thrilled when she saw Abney and Teal’s red sledge this evening as we had bought one just the same today, ready for the snow when it comes! We too are huge fans and loved Neap rolling along in the huge snowball. So glad to hear you enjoy it as much as we do. Tina x

I adore Abney and Teal and am so pleased when my grandson is around so that I can watch it. They were in the snow this evening, wonderful!! Lis age 54 and a half!!
